Ivrit Ramah Shesh VI
Welcome, juniors, to our web page!
Now, to impress me and to score big, you need to do the following things regularly:
1- Participate meaningfully in class.
2- Complete ALL your assignments (and there will be many) on time and neatly done.
(remember that how you do your work is a reflection upon you..)
Definition of "on time"= when the teacher asks for it (i.e.-not in your locker, not
at the end of the day, not in email, not in spirit, etc) If you are absent, they are due the very
next day. Each day late will be a ten-percent penalty.
3- Pay attention in class and take notes on stuff you are learning. Integrate it fast.
4- Sense of humor is appreciated; so is tact.
5- No English, please!
6- Arrive on time and be ready to "perform".
7- If you don't understand something, ask. If you are intimidated, see me after class for
an explanation. Don't let little problems become big ones.
8- Be honest.
GRADES:
Trimester grades are composed of 25% participation, 25 % homework, and 50% assessments (quizzes, test, projects, etc). Everything counts.
QUESTIONS?: EMAIL me at rleven@jbha.org or call - 610 922-2368
EVERY DAY: Bring your hoveret, all work, and your best learning mode. (no doodling, please)
So, what is it we are going to learn in this trimester?
During the second trimester of Ivrit Ramah VI at Barrack, we will be summarizing specific and key concepts in syntax and grammar, but the main dish is:
Hoveret 15 COMPUTERS
And in grammar, Hoveret 15 introduces and drills the HIFIL concept- the fifth (and "causative") conjugation (present, past, future, infinitive, and gerund). We will concentrate on REGULAR VERBS only Also featured: the declensions of "el" and "al"
I hope you are ready to learn and to enjoy..
