Arabic Exploratory Middle School

Salam, Ahlan, Wasaahlan!
This course will introduce the student to basic expressions used when greeting people and engaging in brief conversations. Students will also learn how to order in a restaurant, get tickets, and speak about sports, movies and transportation. Songs from popular artists about peace, family and culture will be presented. Finally, students will learn the script for short, usable sentences and they will be taught to read selected practical sentences in Arabic.

General Information

In the next two weeks we will study about colors as well as common foods in the Arab world. We will also study famous artists, writers and musicians in the Arab world. We will continue to study and sing children's songs about animals, peace, love and harmony. Students will be asked to review the Arabic alphabet in order to read simple sentences in Arabic at the end of the course.
