Welcome to Second Trimester.  We will be looking at books fromt he third portion of our TANACH, namely the Ketuvim.  The order of units is as follows:

I. Tehilim --- December - January

II. Esther --- January - February

III. Shir HaShirim --- March

IV. Mishlei --- April

V. Kohelet --- May - June

Grades are based on the following criteria:

Daily Participation

Chevrutah/Shiyur work

Tracking Quizzes

Competency Tests (if and as needed)

Ongoing assignments

Major Papers

The first paper will be an analysis of a chosen chapter of Tehilim.  This analysis will include looking at literary elements and the various images and metaphors included in the language of the Tehilah chosen.  The due date will be shortly announced.
