AP English
AP English is a college level English course that is offered as an elective. The focus of the class is intensive work in close reading. Other than the summer reading, the reading for this class consists of short works of fiction (short stories, novellas, excerpts) and poetry. We will also be reading some literary criticism.

Grading Guidelines: Students earn a numerical average. Late papers are graded one half grade for each day that they are late.
Behavior Guidelines: Students should following policies in the Student Handbook.
