Academic Chemistry
Academic Chemistry is a concept oriented course which relates the major topics
of chemistry to real life applications. The textbook, Chemistry by Kendall/Hunt,
is designed to help students understand the chemisty behind 12 real life themes, such as
airbags, forensics, sports drinks, hot/cold packs and batteries. Inquiry oriented labs are
designed to help students develop a scientific approach to problem solving.
